Range Buddy - Shooting Drills6.3.7

Range Buddy is the all-in-one firearms training app for shooters who want better shooting drills, on-video shot scoring, a smarter training tracker, and real competition. Connect a shot timer, record and score your shooting on video, track scores, build training regimens, follow training standards, and compete in head-to-head duels or group challenges—all in one app built for serious practice.

Range Buddy helps firearms enthusiasts and shooters find the right shooting drills fast. Browse a comprehensive drill library sorted by target type, drill category, and skill focus so you can train with purpose, measure progress, and improve performance over time.

Record, Score, and Share Your Shooting
Hit record and Range Buddy captures your run on video, then overlays your shot times, splits, and scored hits onto the clip—save to your camera roll and share in seconds. Pick a target overlay (B-8, IPSC, USPSA, IDPA) or free-shoot with no target at all.

Shot Timer—Bluetooth or Your Phone
Pair a Bluetooth shot timer such as the AMG Commander, Special Pie, RangeTech, or Shooters Global to pull live shot data into your drills and videos. No timer? Range Buddy detects your shots from your phone's mic—capturing your draw, splits, and total time for live fire or dry fire. Tune the audio sensitivity for quiet dry-fire trigger presses, and see your shots on screen in real time.

Train From Your Wrist
Pair an Apple Watch or Wear OS smartwatch to start drills, advance steps, and see shots hands-free.
